Of course once you beat a level in Tomb Raider difficulty you unlock time trial. In Tomb Raider we could give Lara less health and even a less amount of time for Lara to have the strength to stay on the ledge.īasically I was hoping that each difficulty the game becomes more realistic. Which was terrible! In Underworld however I'd rather how long Lara can hold onto a ledge depend on the difficulty level and not change through out the game. I know this was in AOD but it was more of an RPG thing with Lara going I feel stronger now. They could also add a little bar showing how long Lara can hold onto a ledge on a vertical wall. In Adventurer they could make the damage done to Lara by traps and falls more. And there would be no limit to how long lara could hold onto ledges. Meaning everything should be at the default nothing to difficult. So we need to figure our some unique ways to make each difficulty more difficult than the last without the conventional give lara less health, give enemies more. And it's more of an annoyance than a challenge. In theory this sounds good but it's not very satisfying. So I would like to keep that.īut in both games all increasing the difficulty does is make the enemies harder to kill and give Lara less health. I personally liked how Legend gave the difficulty names, names that had something to do with Lara and Tomb Raiding in general. In TRL it was Explorer, Adventurer, Tomb Raider I believe. In TRA and TRL there were different difficulty levels. I was thinking about the difficulty levels. This just suddenly dawned on me when I was reading the "return of the high-lighted ledges" thread. For more information, see made this thread so we could discuss what would be the best way to diverse the difficulty levels.
